Hey guys, thought I'd post up a quick vid I made yesterday shooting my gun. I'll host some pics later and post those as well.

Details on gun
-2003 Rat Factory Impulse, serial #452 (originally blue)
-Duracoat ultra flat OD green done by myself
-NDZ bolt (stubby)
-NDZ aluminum rathole hammer
-NDZ slik shot ram shaft
-NDZ ram housing
-NDZ RIP valve
-Evil respirator LPR
-Bob Long Leverlock Feedneck
-Smart Parts Freak barrel with tactical front (20")
-Hogue 1911 rubber grip
-DYE Rotor hopper
-Blackheart board with eye
-Stock (PMI gas thru, don't think they make these anymore) I've had this since the mid 90's
-Remote line

Currently set at 155 on the HP reg, 80 on the LPR and Dwell is at 23 clicks on the Blackheart board. This combo shoots 280FPS at my house elevation of 1600ft, in the woods I play it's almost 7000 and shoots about 290FPS.

nice gun!

Have you has any trouble with Evil LPR and NDZ internals? I have heard that Evil and NDZ don't play well together and can cause pressure issues.

Nope, runs like a finely tuned F1 race car. I think most peoples problems start by not having access to a chrono to adjust the dwell. I put a gauge on the back to adjust the LPR and set it at 80. Any higher than that and I can really feel it kick more, then I adjust my dwell down until my FPS drops off and give it one more click up to maintain FPS. It's quiet as possible and has nearly no noticeable kick especially with the aluminum rat hole hammer. All that of course helps with cycle speed as well.

Without the NDZ internals I don't think it would run nearly as low on all settings and as consistent. If a person doesn't have at minimum a NDZ rip valve and NDZ slik shaft I highly recommend those two parts.

Ehh, I'd still get rid of the evil parts and get more NDZ.

It's one Evil part and possible the sexiest upgrade you can do externally to any Impulse. The respirator is also very functional, easy to adjust without having to lock down the sitting and you don't have that bull **** little air line that catches on every branch in the forest and leaks like you do with that tapeworm crap. If you watch the video there's no denying my gun works and works well. After I get a few answers about the T-board I'll up the anti and install that if it's capable of doing what I want.

Thanks!! I've actually been looking for another one to use on a pump type woods ball gun but can't find one (new anyways). I bought that thing sometime around 1997 I think and have used it on every gun since. It's rock solid and very comfortable. Definitely helps lay down ball on ball accuracy. I modified the one on my gun to meet my needs and shave a little more weight off. The back was originally adjustable and I always used it collapsed down so I removed the adjuster knob and cut down the internal tub that has notches in it to a minimal amount (about 2" vs 6"). I then TIG welded the adjuster knob hole and and welded all the but stock tubes to the main tube that bolts to the gun. There's a pretty big allen bolt that normally holds the shoulder stock to the adjustable rail, I welded that hole up too, then smoothed it all out and sprayed matching Duracoat on the whole thing.

The respirator is not a bad part. It works fine, its just prone to eating orings and being inconsistent(supposedly, I have never used one). And when it fails it lets all pressure through instead of blocking pressure.

The hatred is on the evil internals, the valve and ram dont play nice with other stuff, which is mainly designed for LP. It wants higher pressure, necessitating the use of an LPR. But the respirator itself plays nice.
