Kinda depends on what you are looking to know.  It's blue.  Helpful?  Oh and it is good lookin'.  Looks like it has Dye grips and what looks to be a CP rail as the only visible changes from stock.

Thanks for any help, is there online manuals still available? IE, turning off eyes, modes of fire? I would like to have this marker anodized a nice fade color, any have any good shops to recommend?

Nice gun... What are your plans, woods, speed, sup?

I havent played since 2005, i played air ball back then, so im going to stick to airball for now. The last marker i held in my hand was a Nexus DC 2, but prior i had EGO's Timmy's, Karnivors, PM5's. I fell in love with a RAT Impy back in 2003-4 when i saw a local kid rocking it at my local field. I never shot an Impulse, so this is a first for me. I have been away from the game for 6 years now....i have alot to catch up to. I remember alot of my teamates back then and just word of mouth was the Impulses were garbage and were no good, that they were a poor mans Angel like the Bushmater 2k was in it's hay day. I might shoot her for the first time this weekend or next. I will post a review, where can i find aftermarket parts for this marker (web stores) besides smartpartsparts.com? Thanks for all the help fellas.

Hah my story is very similar to yours. I just got back into the game after about 5 years and picked up my first impulse I had ever shot (it was a strange imp).

They're great guns and I had a blast playing with mine for a full day. There's plenty of good information on here to help you choose your upgrade path.

There is a pretty decent amount of good parts circulating within the impulse community.

Cheers.

Can't really tell from the picture, but if that is only a CP rail, you may also want to get a drop forward which will change the center of gravity a bit by bringing the tank forward and shortening the whole marker some.  What feeder are you going to use?  A new feedneck will also help to make the marker more compact and better balanced.  If it is leaking, I have o-ring kits for the MaxFlo and the whole marker.  LMK.

I still have tons of gear from my old playing days, I still have the Eggy II's and some of the original Halo's. I have aired it and so far no leaks, i have a few of the Kapp drop forwards that i will try and see what gives me the best feel and balance. I want to see what Board it came it, looks like i have to remove the grip frame. I'll your offer open on the O-Rings as i would want to have extra's for any given emergency. Thanks alot for all the help.

Most people (dumb kids) at my local field only know what they read about impys online. They will say " impulses suck or their bad guns", but they really dont know anything about them. So you should make it a point as i do, to shoot them ALOT! Most of the time im getting picked 1st for their team " give me the guy with the impulse". There are a ton of places to pick up parts, HERE, pbnation, mcarterbrown, and ebay.  I would look for a rip valve, WAS board, and LPR (check often for parts, beacuse they dont stay for sale long)... Most important thing is read and understand how to tune the gun. I spent a sat at my field just tuning, and im glad i did.

I shoot eggs too.  Just tossed my original and it was strong for 6 years or so.  You'll want to cut about an inch off the feed tube to drop it a bit.  Otherwise, it is sooooo high, birds will land on it!  Compare the egg feed tube length to the halo.  Not sure why they made them so long.
