WAS problem
«

Ok I got the WAS in my classic Impy and I'm having mad problems. It won't do nothing. When I turn it on it stays lit solid green for like a 1 sec or 2, then the light goes off. When I push the power button again the red light comes on then goes off. And that's about all it does. Don't fire or nothing. I pulled it out of the grip frame because I thought that the trigger might be depressed or something and it does the same thing. Anyone got any pointers?

I know it sounds stupid but did you try a new battery? also - any of the wires look crimped or stripped?

It does sound like the trigger is depressed, take the entire board out examine it and see if there is something caught under the sensor where it hits to fire. I have had this problem, but be patient it will all work out.

I took the board out it didn't look or feel like there was anything caught, I'll check it again. I thought about tryn a fresh battery, the gas station on base didnt have any 9V, And to tell you the truth I think the batter I'm tryin now might have came outta my gutair. LOL. How silly. I'll try y'alls suggestions and get back with news soon.

OK so I got a new battery and beofre I put it in I noticed the the wires from the solenoid that go into the small connector that conects to the board were pulled out a bit. So I took the out and sodered a new set of wires going from the solenoid to the connector. Tested the solenoid with a battery it was work properly. Put the new battery in and it still is doing the same thing. I checked the wires from the eye and noticed some of the plastic was worn away but noe of the wires were broken. So I'm pretty sure the board is dead. I've been looking all over the internet to find a blackheart board and the lowest I can find is for $124. Anyone got one they wanna come off of for cheaper?

that's bad news. If i see anything floating around I'll let you know. I would still try to stick with the WAS board instead of the Blackheart?
Also, where do you live?
