Which Reg screws? Is this a standard Max-Flo horizontal, a Max-Flo vertical or something different? A body screw that is stripped? Need more info.

Depending on how stripped they are, you may be able to get away with using some lock-tite on the threads and clamp the noid in place while it dries. Then be real careful putting it back together. Another shot may be teflon tape to fatten up the screw just enough to grab. Both solutions are bandaids though. A new body could be in your future since tapping new threads would entail a larger screw diameter and I'm not sure how much play there is in the hole through the noid.

tried teflon tape. no good it wont tighten enough to not leak. it does seem though that the scews will thred in alot more but the noid wont allow it im gonna try some longer screws if i can find them. and also give that lock tite a try that may just work. as far as tapping new threads there is some room to work with but not much. thanx for your help blacknred. i will let you know how it turns out.

Do you have access to a dremel? I had something like that happen to me before and I just used a dremel and cut a slit in the top of the screw. Then used a flathead screwdriver to take them out. Worked like a charm but the screws weren't as small as the noid ones are.
If not, try some JB weld and basically glue an allen key to the screws. Once it dries its hard as a rock and you should be able to just unscrew them. Again, these options are tricky because the size of the noid screws.
Best of luck!

Hey LO. Nice info, but I think you missed the boat. Either that or I did. Think it was you though judging by Slim's response. The screws are not stuck in, but are out and now he can't tighten the noid to the gasket enough to keep it from leaking cause the holes are stripped out. I haven't tried JB Weld. Perhaps that jamed into the holes and then the noid with the screws clamped in place while it dries will be enough to hold the thing together.

Ahhh....stripped holes is a much different story. Not really sure how to fix that.
Just make sure that the noid is actually leaking. I've thought my noid was leaking before but it turned out i needed to changed the orings on the ram housing.

I know this problem may have been solved by now, and this thread is a little old, but there is a repair for it. If your body has some $$ into it, maybe some milling or ano work, you can have inserts installed. I've done it before a couple of times a bunch of years ago. It's pretty tedious work, but it's worth it if getting another body is out of reason.

I just found out I have the same problem. I have never taken it apart before and it was leaking and loose so I thought I would clean it since I was going to fix it anyhow, but now one of the screws wont hold. I went to ace to see if they had longer screws and they didn't, he told me to look on line. I have yet to find anything and thought I would post it here and see if there was an answer. I found the post but did they JB weld work or not? if not, how much is it to get milling done? Let me know what you guys think. Sorry it seems like all I post on here is trying to find stuff or problems I'm having lol. Once I get my gun back together I will post some pics.

Yeah, good luck finding screws, they're metric I think (maybe 1.6 mm?). I used to charge $20 for 1 hole, or $35 for both to install custom made stainless inserts. Haven't done them in a bunch of years though. Good luck.

Yeah, at the time that I was looking for them I was trying to find another source than SP, since they were getting something outrageous for them. I don't remember if it was like $4 each or for two or somthing silly like that.
