Alright guys I have a impulse made up from spare parts.  I know the solenoid is good, whether it is placed right I'm not sure.  But what is going on is when I air up the impulse you can hear a leak coming from somewhere inside the gun (which makes me think the noid is bad or not placed right) Now when I pull the trigger the board clicks and the light flashes so I know the board is connecting.  But if I try to push the bolt forward it doesn't move at all (now I can't remember the operating pressure of the impys but I'm used to low pressure guns like timmies where you can push the bolt forward even with air in the gun).  also when I pull the trigger you can here a small psh sound as if the gun is trying to shoot but can't.  I cleaned and lubed the valve and i even rotated the valve just to make sure I didn't put it in upside down or something.  So what are yall thoughts?  I know the noid is good because I just bought.  it does have a lpr which doesn't seem to make a difference whether its all the way in or all the way out.

what is your operating pressure? do you have the gasket for the noid?

also, you can air up the gun while the trigger frame is detached from the body, which will allow you to see/feel if the noid is leaking. pushing the little white "button" on top of the noid will make the gun fire, let me what happens when you push that?

Yeah the gasket is on there and is new as well.  Doing the white button trick I noticed its not the gasket at all.  the leak was coming from the reg adapter, the part that the vert max flow screws into.  I realized that my pressure gauge was screwed in too tight and the reg adapter was not able to seal off.  after i fixed that issue I hit the white button and the gun fired, some what weak and it would quickly recock(the weakness might have been due to make low air in my tank). thinking all was fixed i put the trigger frame back on pulled the trigger and nothing.  now my air is low and I know impys tend to leak if there is not enough pressure so that might be the bigger issue. I was running the reg between 150 and 250.   What is a good operating pressure for the impy?  btw the battery for the gun is brand new so I know it can't be that haha.

250 is much too high. Optimal pressure depends on your internals, lpr pressure and dwell. but i would start around 140-160.

do you have a gauge for your LPR pressure? nce you grab some more air, we can walk through some more steps. but you're making progress!

I have a gauge on the reg, but not the lpr.  living out in the boonies is hard to get air but will get some asap.  What would be the main cause, or likely issues for the trigger not firing.

I will be getting air this Saturday when I'm at the field.  But here is another question for yall. Does it matter if the tank is High pressure or Low pressure?  I'm just wondering because I think most of my tanks are HP.

Your regulator will knock down a HP tank to work with your Imp.  They won't do the reverse with a marker requiring high pressure if you have a LP tank.  Just another advantage of using an Imp.

I thought that would be the case.  can't wait to get some air and get my mixed parts impulse back up and running.  Found another reason it was leaking out of the vert. reg adapter...the part that the screw mounts up against broke on the side so the screw could not get a good footing and tighten up.  the can make a lot of sense when you look at every part haha
