Well first make sure the body is Vision capable, which most are. I would purchase a Board with a eye (WAS, BlackHeart or Cricket w/ Vision). You will need to drill a hole thru the blank piece that is blocking the hole and file it down, or remove the screw if there is one that is there to cover the opening. Next is adding your eye, checking to see if it see's the ball and installing the board ect.. Is very simple. Let me know if I can help more.

Agreed - this is a very simple install. Don't be intimidated by this and I would definately try to grab a WAS board if you can. YOu wont regret it.

Does the eye come with the boards? I am not sure where to the get the board, eye, and eye cover at. The rest I am pretty sure I can figure out..

Also, what kind of regulators can the impulse fit? Everyone I have seen it looks to be a shocker regulator or just the stock max-flow. I am pretty sure last time I even put gas through my impulse the regulator was leaking. I'll have to put it all together again here soon and see.

Well you need to loacte a board with a eye..... Here in the Buy/sell area, or Ebay and PBnation. You should be able to find one. You can use any shocker style reg, CP makes a shorty, or you can buy a O-ring kit to rebuild the maxFlo. Pretty easy as well. Check out and make sure whatever you buy is in working condition and comes with a eye.

Well, I found a WAS Board for sale. Guy is telling me it doesn't come with an eye though. However, I found a vision repair kit (http://www.directpaintball.com/Smart-Parts-Impulse-Vision-Repair-Kit-P14704C1549.aspx), still looking for one used also to see if I can get it cheaper. But would that be all I needed with a WAS board? I saw a picture of the blackheart board for the Impulse, (http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/4265/). And it looks as though there is another separate board for the vision. Is this the same way with the WAS, or is it all integrated?

You may want to just buy a vision Impy on EBay.  For the $50 that you'll spend for that repair kit you'd get more parts.  Impys are going cheap.  Of course there is some risk, but for a bit more $ you can get the whole thing.  A Blackheart Impy was sold the other day for $96 plus $12 shipping.
