Hey guys, I recently got a classic Impulse (i think its a 2003 non vision but im not sure) that came with a 4500psi Max-Flo horizontal regulator with an on/off switch (its one piece) and has a tank built in. I am having problems with the on/off (i think) when i turn it off and depressurize the gun it will slowly fill the gun back up to 180psi even though it is off, and some times i cant even get it to depressurize at all. My guess would be that it has something to do with the on/off part of the reg. but im not sure....any suggestions?.....thanks.

O-ring on the on/off could be bad.

hey wookie! welcome to I-O. The max-flo probably has never been cleaned. Or if it was, it was cleaned years ago! I would take it apart and give it a nice greasing, some new orings, and you should be good to go. Follow the link below to the "I-O Library"

http://www.impulse-owners.com/*-io-library-*/impulse-library/

Click on the IMPULSE FAQ - Technical, and then look at #5. It's a nice video that will walk you through cleaning your maxflo.

Let me know if you have any questions.
