Hey guys, i looked around and couldnt really find an exact answer for my questions so here i go..

I have a blue non vision impulse serial no. above 40000. My impulse is leaking from under the maxflow where you can put in the allen wrench (newer maxflow) . i used the gun all day it worked fine, filled my tank up one last time and went home. when i got home, i aired the gun up and it was leaking like crazy from the bottom of the maxflow. i cleaned it went trough it all and it still is doing it.

Can an impulse leak if your tank is too low on pressure?? (like 1500psi or lower)
and when i tried to just shoot through the leaking it was making a really loud honking noise, any clues?
what should i do to fix the max flow leak? Undecided

My shocker sft is in the shop and they are taking forever to fix it. I want to fix my impulse my self so i can use it this weekend but i have no air to test it, what should i  do? I would really appreciate the help thanks alot!

So it started leaking before you took it apart right?  I'd try backing that out so the bottom knob so threads are just flush the bottom of the waves and you can see some of the threads in the wave troughs.  I think that is "loose" or down pressure right?  Any leak?  What does the pressure gauge on the marker say?  Turn up and dry fire until you get to about 180 psi.  If it is still leaking, perhaps the little o-ring over the pin got sideways.  Take it apart and check all the rings again.

Shouldn't leak with 1500 psi in the tank.  That is enough to power the marker for a while.

i am going to my local shop tomorrow because i have no air. i cleaned the gun, took off the maxflow the o rings looked fine i put a little lube on the o rings and put it back on. i made it so you an see the threads about halfway through the waves on the bottom of the maxflow. hopefully when they air it up there are no leaks! thanks for your advice i will post what happens tomorrow

i'd try to take out the valve, clean off the old lube, re-lube, and re-install.

That looks a lot like one of mine!  I don't see a pressure gauge.  You may want to get one of those while at the shop or online.  A 0-300 psi model for about $10.  The problem that I have found with them and the Imp is that most of them are short stemmed and don't fit as well as the long ones.  Finding an extender has been an issue as mentioned elsewhere.
You may want to shorten up that macro line a little too.  The extra flopping around can get caught on stuff if you play woodsball.
Nice arrow btw.

Ahh, I was thinking it was leaking from somewhere else until I saw that arrow haha.

Are you sure your pressure ins't too high?

the pressure was a little below 200 all day when i was playing (theere is an ans pressure gauge on the opposite side of the gun). The gun worked great all day and when i got home i tried to air it up thats when it started to leak

Nah.  Your Maxflo is fine.  Are any of the o-rings really dinged or stretched?  The rebuild kits are cheap.  I'd go that route if needed.

It is fine it jsut needs to be rebuilt . it was leaking with my original maxflow then i put the one from my shocker onto the impulse and no leaks. i am going to order the o ring kit to rebuild the maxflow. thanks alot!
