The other day i was taking my old impulse out for a run in the forrest.  Everything worked like a charm. After 3-400 balls it started to mailfunction. When i pulled the trigger only a little air was comming out. And the indicator flashed red. And i could not turn it of. With an 2-3 years battery in it i thought the battery was going dead. Borowed another marker and had fun the rest of the day. After a while i noticed the marker had stopped flashing red and was off.    When i come home i tryed switching to a new battery but now it wont turn on.  Took it apart and everything looks fine as i can see.  Any idea what to do and what to look for?

Blinking red is the indicator for a low battery. Not sure why it wouldn't turn on with a frsh battery though. Did you try a few different fresh batteries?

Also - make sure the microswitch isn't messed up on the board.

Tryed several batteries and even tested them with a volt meter. The one that sat in had good voltage too. 8,7v.   It rained that day but the board was dry when taken apart.
Sad if it just died  Sad   Is there any way of doing a hardware reset?

Hmm...doesn't sound good. You can reset the board like you said...that might do the trick.

WAS manual in link below...

I dont find any reset function that could be used without turning it on first.   I think of something like shorting to pins or something.

Ok i managed to turn it on. It turns out there is a bad connection on the circut board. i was playing around with my test instrument and found out there was power to the on/off switch and the switch was working. But no power was going to wherever it supposed to go.  So i just used a smal wire and hocked it up and voila.  Smiley  No i just need to fix it.

nice...a buddy of mine had to re-solder his connections too. Over time they weaken.

At least you figured out the problem and kept some money in your pocket!
