My max-flo's adjustment cap's screw hole is stripped.  the hex screw, if i just tap the reg onto my hand, falls right out.  i didn't over tighten, i just noticed a tiny bit of thread bite (much less than i normally use to secure the cap) and then it spun freely.  when i took out the screw, i actually pulled off a small coil of metal  and i'm not going to run around with a semi loose adjustment cap.  yeah... NO!   what should i do? 

i actually like the tough look of the max-flo, it works great, and it's anno matches the rest of the gun.  can't really re-tap it larger as there isn't much metal down there to work with.

don't want to get another reg really.  but if i must i must.  suggestions?  anyone selling a blue vertical max-flo adjustment cap?

ok cool, you give me hope.  i think i'll head up to ace hardware right now.

 i just spent time looking at cp regs and such.  lol, don't feel like spending another $60 after all the ups i've just done.  i just got it all together and chrono'd it today.  now i have to take the reg apart and fix the dang thing.  lol.  such is the life of a tinkerer.
