Eye issue

I'm having a little issue with the vision on my impulse. The problem is, it won't shoot as fast in vision mode as it will in non vision. There's a pause between shots in higher rates of fire, where as in non vision its consistent. I know its not the eye system itself, because the eye detects a ball every time one is loaded. Board is a blackheart board, brand new. Installed a few months ago. I shot through hoppers just pulling with one finger, and it never skipped a shot, so the eye definitely works. Its clean also. I know its not the hopper either, since it keeps up just fine in non vision mode.
The only thing I can think of, is maybe the eye is moving the slightest amount from the increased vibrations of the gun when shooting faster. This problem never happens when I pull with just one finger. Any one else experienced this? Any ideas on what else could be causing it?

So you are mixing in double finger shooting to the equation. So it shoots fine in eye mode with one finger pulling? Does you trigger wobble enough to not hit the micro switch properly when you are double fingering or something? What do you have for the other settings? Debounce and ROF. Have you tried different paint? Eyes react to different color and finish paint. I was having eye issues with some metalic colored two color balls this year.

It happens under higher rates of fire, no matter what firing mode. Semi, Full auto, ramping...Its like a pause between shots. Not every shot though. Like, with eyes of its like * * * * * * * nice and consistant. Turn them on, and its like * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *. Hesitation between shots. Paint is yellow all star. I also tried it with dark purple shelled heat, and the problem still happens. I put some tissue paper under the eye cover to put a little more pressure on the eye strip to hold it to the body tighter, but the problem is still there so its not because of the gun vibration like I was thinking. Maybe its one of the detents, or not enough pressure on the ball stack. This problem hasn't always been there, just started happening not too long ago.

I would check the ROF DELAY (solid red) on your BH board settings.
This adjusts the minimum time the marker must wait between shots. Increasing the
it will raise the pause, slowing down how fast the marker can fire. Lowering it will decrease the pause, allowing the marker to shoot faster.
def sounds like the board settings just need to be tweaked

Its not the rof delay. It isn't the rate of fire thats the issue, its the consistency of the bps its set to when the eyes are on. Its like 10 bps, 8 bps, 11 bps, 7 bps...all over the place. When I switch to vision mode, its like my loader isn't fast enough. (halo v35) But I turn the eyes off and no chops and its a consistent bps....I can't figure it out whats causing it haha.

you could try a factory reset and see if that helps anything. Otherwise...just forget about it haha. You don't even need eyes these days anyways with the fast loaders available. Vision eyes made sense when we used gravity feed hoppers, now eyes really aren't even that necesssary..despite common belief.
But if your anything like me, you want to fix it anyways. Try fresh batteries in the hopper and gun too.

Yeah its not that big of a problem, since I don't shoot fast anyways. But still, I want it to work 100%. I guess the only thing to try would be a brand new battery haha.
