09 Impulse Board Issues

Hey guys,
First post on here so lets see how it goes.
About a week ago I bought an 09 impy(lightly used) and right out of the box it shot great, what can I say I love the gun. I went to charge it and everything is good, I go to unplug the charging cable from the board and the black piece on the board itself has popped off. I'm not sure of the part number or what its even called but its connected by pins to the board and its where the charging cable plugs in. If anyone has another board or knows how to fix it plz plz let me know asap.

wish I knew more about the 09 imps. Unfortunately their doesn't seem to be much info out there on theM. Prob a dumb question...but did you look in the manual?

Sounds like the solder just let go. Is the part damaged? Main board? I'd take the charger and part to Radio Shack or better yet, a real electronics supply store if it is broken and get a match. Then dig up a friend who is good at board work. If you aren't, you stand to melt the board and do some real damage.

Fortunately its not broken i think your right it just came off..my friend is an electrical engineer so he's a whiz with a soldering gun. Gog is also sending me a board for a grandtotal of 60$. So all looks good. Thanks a ton guys, and @ lightsout, sorry for sounding like a d-bag man lol
