i have an older impulse (adrenalin) with an NDZ Rip valve, which means i dont run with a valve spring. so my question is do i even need to run a front volumizer, or could i just find a cap to cap off the front of the gun?

Not sure exactly what you are referring to? I assume the "volumizer" your talking about it actually an LPR. If so, you don't NEED the LPR but you do want to keep it on the gun. It will help lower your pressure and make the gun more efficient.
