just bought this thing off of k_kindig11 on ebay. i had a vision impulse a long time ago (2003) with all sorts of goodies (AKA sidewinder, evil respirator, pipe barrel kit, magnetic trigger), it was so nice i wanted an impulse again, so i bought this one.

how are the lapco big shot barrels with impulses? i eventually want to pick a CP base pro-kit.
it comes with an empire regulator, but i also just picked up a vert maxflo reg from a nerve, how consistent are these?
and where can i find Evil internals (ram, hammer, valve) and the respirator LPR?

thanks for any help. it feels good to be back with an impulse.

man that is a beautiful adrenalin. first, you don't want to go with evil internals. NDZ makes such higher quality. Also, on an adrenalin like that, you won't need a respirator. As far as locating parts, your best bet is part trading thread in the impulse forum on pbnation. All in all, looks like a good buy. I love my adrenalin and still use it often

well the auction stated it had a brass hammer(no specific brand mentioned) and there was no description of the rest of the internals or front cap setup, but i can only assume they are the adrenaline parts that originally came with the gun. and it has no vision, so how hard would it be to install the vision kit?

Simple to pop in the vision.  k_kindig11 is a member here and is always selling boards on ebay.  I got one from him a couple of months ago.  It is a real beauty that u have there.

Nice looking marker. Upgrade to a WAS board, nice I frame and NDZ internals parts and gun will run as smooth as butter. Goodluck.

would it be worth it to add a NDZ RIP valve? or is the stock adrenaline one good as is? i assume it would help, but a confirmation would be nice.

Eh I don't use a rip valve in mine and it runs fine. However, some of the other guys here swear by them.

Will say going from stock valve to evil valve to Rip Valve there is a huge diference in operating pressure. I am operating at 140hp and 80 Lp so compared to 200 HP and 120 LP so ya there is a difference in  my opinion.

well i just picked up a few NDZ goodies starting with the RIP valve, slik shot (untreated) and Equilizer bolt. as for the untreated Slik shot ram shaft, is there any really difference between the untreated and treated one? it was a hell of a deal from NDZ site ( i think i payed 15.00). still looking for a NDZ ram assembly.

so right now my internals are looking like this:
Rip valve
stock adrenaline brass hammer
untreated slik shot
EQ bolt
stock ram assembly.

i dont wanna run an LPR on this, but is there anything else i missed in terms of good upgrades?

The NDZ Ram assembly would be your last added with a rathole S/S Hammer. These are hard to find but they do pop up here and there. Other than that looks good!!!

I have used and swear by my boomstick for years, yeah its got some weight, but it seems to balance out the front of my imps nicely
I havw also used just recently a J&J edge kit and loved it except that it made the front of my imp lite, but it shot nicely
