I think i want to install an LPR.  i'd also like to try and lower some pressuer some more with a rip valve and ndz ss mid hammer.

i have a tapeworm now.  with this lpr fitting, will i be loosing that?  pros cons of that?  who makes lpr's with tapeworms.  is it a big deal?

I've found a SP LPR with an older NDZ cap for $25
a rip valve for $30
and a ndz SS hammer for $15

can i use the hammer and valve with a stock ram assembly?  is there much to benefit from this setup?  is this all a good value?

the LPR is the last one they have in stock, i wouldn't mind purchasing just that for now if it'll give me good value and performance.

thanks for any info Smiley

here's the LPR and cap

I don't have first hand experience with impulse LPRs but from what I've read online the SP LPR is somewhat mediocre compared to other options (New Designz and Palmers come to mind). I would look for either of those before buying the SP one.

that's strange, most of the reviews i've come across have been very favorable.  i read 2 about getting defective units, but i have a feelingthey didn't know how to use them or had the dwell to high or low.

does anyone have hands on experience, what about thoughts on the setup i'm thinking about?

rip valve, ss mid hammer, stock ram and housing, sp max-flo lpr?
