WHICH LOOKS BETTER? OPINIONS PLEASE.

LPR on vertical adapter:

LPR on front cap:

ok, this all started when i read about lpr sucking air from the valve's supply on every shot when in the front cap position.  this in theory made me want to put it on the vertical adapter.  i see about 98% of imps with the lpr on the front cap.  this must be pretty much a null issue, but i can see the theory behind it (triggers my o.c.d. brain lol).
also, i can't find a 1/8" npt extender locally.  i found them for $0. 45 online, but the shipping is a whopping $7.99!!!

SO... while waiting for hammer, cocker hose, and low pressure gauge to arrive, i've been mocking up the gun trying to decide what i want to do.

on front cap
pros:
*starting to think it looks better
*away from hands when holding the gun
*liking the added black accent
*don't need to find 1/8" npt extension
cons:
*said air suckage theory

on vertical adapter
pros:
*goes along with theory and eases o.c.d. brain
cons:
*will be right at my hand (hose in way, etc.)
*starting to not like the look
*would need to procure 1/8" npt extension
*no extra black accent

so many more pro's with front cap, many more cons with va.  but i still can't decide.  i'll let you guys decide.

I would drill and tap your blue volumizer, then put it on there. I snapped off a LPR that was on my VA, playing woodsball a few years ago. I like the LPR tucked up under the barrel.

I'd go with the front cap design.  I too have struck out with the extender, but have not looked too hard.  Small hardware stores would have that.  Not Lowe's or Home Depot.

i was at ace hardware yesterday, they had all 1/8" npt under the sun.  which has led me to believe an extender lives out of sunlight lol.  i did however get a brass 90* from there though so the trip wasn't a loss.

decisions decisions...i kind of like the look of it in place of the PRV. Tapping your stock cap is def a good option as well to keep the "integrity" of the marker.

ok, parts came in yesterday.  i put in the hammer and slik shot.  i thought the ss mid hammer felt heavy, until i took off the old sp brass, that thing is crazy beefy in comparison.  lpr is on with hose attached. i used the black cap for now.  i like it with the added accent.  i still may drill and tap the original to keep it;s "integrity" Smiley

deathss, expect a pm on friday Cheesy

here it is with the lpr and hose all properly teflon'd up.
