This is my Impulse Vision.  Just got it in this past week, and went to work upgrading it.  Here's the specs as it now sits: Hybrid feedneck, Hybrid grips, MWP grip hump, Eclipse magnetic trigger, CP on/off ASA, Max-Flo vert HPR, Evil Respirator LPR, Freak barrel kit, drilled Evil valve, Spyder lightweight valve spring (stretched), Shocktech bolt, NDZ Skick-Shot ram, NDZ mid-weight hammer.  I'm planning on adding a Blackheart board, should I happen to find one at the same time I've got the cash to spare.

And now for some eye candy!

Here's a full view with the tank, hopper, and barrel...

And a close-up shot.  Yes, I know the feedneck is missing a tab, but it still works and I'll have another one for it this week.

Here's a view of the back.  We didn't have a 90* fitting small enough to clear the ram housing so I modified one to fit.  Notice the corner was rounded off.

This wouldn't be complete withuot my team's logo on the hopper now, would it...

And just for giggles, a pic of my Ion.  I love the grip humps lol...

They play nice for me actually.  I haven't actually chrono'd yet but it fully cycles at about 70 psi on the low side and at 150psi on the high side it's getting decent groupings past 80 feet so I'm confident it'll be just fine.

How exactly did you drill the valve?

It seemed really small to me so I just opened the port feeding the bolt a little bit.  Not much, like 1mm or so bigger.

i bet thats why they evil and ndz are working together. By drilling it out and using a diff spring you probably made the valve more like ndz's RIP valve. Curious though, why did you change the valve spring?

It was missing a valve spring when I got it.  I'd love to give you a better answer but that's all I got.  Consequently, I didn't even know until after the fact that it was an Evil valve.  I just used my knowledge from teching other markers to make it work.

On this valve if you have the Evil LPR can you use that valve? I want to upgrade but I have the LPR and says it is for markers without the LPR? Any suggestions?

Evil says if your just going to use the valve, dont use an lpr, unless your going to use the evil lpr which was designed to work with their valve

Thanks for the responses, guys.  I absolutely love this gun.  I was surprised at how smooth it shoots considering how many people gripe about recoil and all that.  Seems like the lower operating pressure really does the trick.  My only gripe about the gun is the lack of a 10bps cap or any sort of ramp.  The field I ref at requires markers be set no faster than 13bps semi for open play, but for tournaments it's a 10bps cap and ramping, be it PSP, NXL, whatever the players want to use so long as it's not activated on the first couple pulls.  Not sure why the ramping is required, I mean I can shoot semi faster than that, but rules are rules.  I can care less about the open play since I can just turn the vision off and squeak by but for tournaments it's a no-go.  So I'm on the hunt for a Blackheart.

This may require a little more work, but i think i would be cheaper than the blackheart, and out perform the blackheart as well.
