I started playing paintball when I was about 9 years old (I am about to be 25). Since then I have been hooked. I "grew up" on shoebox Shockers, all of my friends shot them. I could never afford anything like that so I suck with my model 98 until around 2000 when I got my first Impulse. I remember my friend got his first at the time I think we were in 8th grade? I remember how cool that gun was.. We would just sit for hours at his house and play with it (electronic guns were still kinda new then at least for us) Mine was a laser body gun similar to this minus the low production number lol

In 2002 I sold off my Impulse and pre-ordered the new 03' Shocker. I played until 2005 and quit 2nd to funds or lack there of.. Ever since then I really have missed playing. About a year ago I started back up with a Etek3AM. I still love "old" markers and went on a type of spending spree collecting old guns of my past that I have dreamed of owning.. Now I have my 99' tubro select Fire Shocker and 4x4 still in the original boxes, my all Orginal 99' STO, my all Orginal never shot 99' autococker, and two Impulses including GameFace 00060 in the box.

One gun in particular always stood out to me... It wasnt the best gun, it wasnt one I dreamed of owning.. it was one I had. My laser body Impulse. For some reason this one was embedded in my childhood memories.

So I have searched for a while to find my original gun or one similar. Once in a while id find a few promising leads but it wasnt the right gun or it was a mut of parts.

I am happy to say I have found the right gun and my search is over. Id like to share Pre-Release IMP001423... I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do :-)

siiiiicck. Love the original classic look and this is defintely one of, if not THE lowest # imps I have seen.

I used to shoot an STO too before I got hooked on Imps! That thing was sweet but gave me a lot of issues and I wasn't the best at tinkering with them. It's nice to know that their are still some "old souls" left in the paintball world and not everyone is hooked on Ego's and DM's. You have yourself quite the collection and I urge you to hang onto them for as long as you can. You can't put a price on memories! haha Thumbs Up

That is in really great shape.  Now I can see where some of my odd parts came from.
